How do I know that my business data is secure with virver?

We have an enterprise level security protocol firmly in place, in accordance with strict datacenter security policies. In addition, there are security measures established at your virver level, including username and password policies, which we review with you, to provide an additional layer of security at your business application and data levels. We take data security very seriously . In many cases this enterprise security infrastructure and these data security policies are far better than what presently exists, or might even be available, in most small to medium sized businesses where confidendial customer and business data resides everyday.

My employees use their personal computers at home. Is my data secure?

The business benefit virver offers is anywhere access to your business, whether in the office, at home or on the road. While we have no control over what your employees do with your data, we can, however, discuss with you security measures you may wish to consider to lock down your data to those in your organization who need access to it. virver can let you deploy only certain applications by user so that those employees only see and use what they need when you need them to. In addition, because your business applications and data reside on your virver, if an employee loses a laptop, your confidential business and customer data is not lost with it./p>

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will not be charged after you select 'Get Started' but will only be authorized by the amount of the Setup Fee of the plan chosen. After you have had your initial 'Welcome Session' with a virver Solutions Advisor, your credit card will be charged the Setup Fee and a pro-rated portion of the total User Fees to the end of the month. Subsequent monthly charges with only include User Charges (in accordance with our TOS/AUP) for the quantity of named users authorized.

How do I add users? How do I remove users?

Contact our virver Support Team for adding new users. Once a user is added to your profile, you have full authority over each user's access credentials and the role each user plays in your virver environment. This gives you the immediate ability to remove someone from your virver network, no matter where they may be located at the time, so that they do not have access to sensitive, secure data, simply by changing a password or locking them out of the network. This puts you in full control of anywhere access.

How am I charged for this service?

The only form of payment we accept at this time is credit card; we do not accept checks and are unable to setup billing terms at this time. When you request the addition of a new named user to your account, you will be billed a prorated portion of that charge for the balance of the month to your credit card.

Are there long term contracts? How would I cancel my account?

There are no long term contracts. virver is offered on a month to month basis. If you are no longer receiving value from our service, please feel free to cancel your account at any time. We simply request that the primary account holder notify us in writing (email is fine) that you wish to cancel your account. Note that the primary account holder is established during the Welcoming Session.

How do I get my data back if I should decide to cancel my account?

You have two options: (1) you can download your data to a local server or workstation, the same way you uploaded it to virver. (2) You can request that your data be returned to you on an external drive. This service costs $250, depending on the size of your data, and the external drive is included in the price.
